While I did have a tenderloin last week, I have yet to dine out at a SteakN'Shake this year. I have almost forgotten how wonderful and greasy my beloved chili-mac's are.

There are tenderloins all around Chicagoland. Down state, they are probably more prevelent than up here.

I remember that the frozen section was the only place to find them in L.A. a decade ago. I remember missing them while I was out there. They did have this place I liked to go and order teriyaki burgers (topped with pineapple slices). Those were good.

I'd never live longer than a 10 minute drive from tenderloins!

IMS and the best loins on earth! Are we lucky to live in Indy or what?
Have a very blessed day!

You can get the loins in Ohio. I know of three places in Cincinnati alone....

Well, I guess it's about time to add my two cents in on the Tenderloin subject. I had a tenderloin at Salem Speedway a couple of weeks ago, it was alright, but it almost fit in the bun.
Mr. Dave's in North Manchester, IN has great tenderloins.
But the best tenderloins are the ones we have for fundraisers in our area. Bill Brewer makes some great tenderloins and so does the Richvalley Lions Club. At the Wabash County 4-H fair, you can get the Richvalley tenderloins. They're probably my favorite.

(sung to the tune of...well, just guess )

"Back in the land of hammered pig butt,
in restaurants that serve them hot.

The crispy breading coat, it's not a sheep or goat,
it's the other white meat for me.

The deep-fried 'loin sends off its fragrance,
through the grills, my second home.

When I dream about the taste of 'loins at Indy,
how I long for my Indiana home."

Just returned from devouring a two handed loin at McGilvery's while attending the Autosports 2002 broadcast. It was very good!

I met NDGator and Janie tonight.

Al Jr.'s interview was exceptional. If you live in the Indy area, make sure you watch the telecast at 5:30 Thursday night. Also a nice interview with John DeVries.

The Foyt team was scheduled to appear, but due to the day's events they were not there.

Here in Connecticut we don't have anything like that . I am going to have to find somewhere to try them. Anything that has people going like this must be special.

You poor soul! It's a shame that anyone's deprived of tenderloin!

I haven't posted yet, but I may as well be included in a 300 post thread.

In high school, we had tenderloins.

Actually, I think the fish, chicken, and tenderloin were the same "patty".

The fish was the "undercooked" version, the chicken was the "just right" version, and the tenderloin was the "smashed flat" version.

You just reminded me of my favorite quote from the movie Meatballs:

Attention. Here's an update on tonight's dinner. It was veal. I repeat, veal. The winner of tonight's mystery meat contest is Jeffrey Corbin who guessed "some kind of beef."
