OT - Going to war without France is like...

...going to bed without a tuba. Neither are relevant to the task and hand, and both will probably just get in the way.
"It was actually fun, because you're back fully driving again in these trucks. Ninety percent of the tracks we go to in the IRL, you're flat-out. I was having to lift off the corners some here." - Buddy Rice

Going to war with France is like:

..having unprotected sex with Charlie Sheen.

..putting all of your 401K in MPH stock.

..cornering the market on the Falcon chassis.

..going for the pole with an Indy Chevy.

..letting Paul Tracy borrow your car.

..letting Bill Clinton date your sister.

    ..buying a hamburg in England.

    ..believing Chris Pook.

..trying to surf the web with a 286 computer with a 900 baud modem.

..asking Tony Stewart for advice on controlling your temper.

I believe Ross Perot used that line recently and said "that going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordian."
    I just love Ross.

I understand it was Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf.

Another quote, attributed to George Patton "I would rather have a German division in front of me than a French one
    behind me".
