At least one of the two walked out under his own power

I was watching MSNBC which had a camera showing rescue workers clapping and hugging each other but they did not say why.

I flipped thru the channels and CBS had a reporter on cell phone from the scene.

A woman also has been pulled out of a stair well alive in the last 12-24 hours

The reporter tried to get over to talk with one of the firefighters but the survivor was moved before he could

He then said that realized that he was next to the truck where bodies are being loaded.

He tried to give a report on air about this but broke down and could not continue

Dan Rather tried to continue for him but his voice also started cracking and he had trouble talking. Finally anohter anchor picked up to give Rather a chance to compose himself

CNN is now reporting that the two firefighters came from an SUV burried in the debris and that there were three other firefighters in the SUV also alive.

Unbelievable, 5 firefighters found alive in an SUV which was a fire department vehicle
