    STOP TERRORISM NOW!

Is the battle cry. There is no doubt the time has come to end terrorism, but what should we do when the acts are supported by our goverment no matter what the source of support. Is what happened last week a matter of what goes around comes around?

Read this article: "Clinton pardoned an accused tax cheat, but Poppy Bush set a serial terrorist free" http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special...ith030101.html

IMO the pardon of this person was done because he was doing the will of the US goverment and possibly others. We have been doing the very things other terrorist do for years, it's just not as obvious as last week. If your not in those places to read about and it's just filler in US papers you never here about it. You won't read about it on the front page of every paper. Or is it justified by calling it "espionage"? Tell that to the people who live in those countries that live in fear (terror). Is it justified because those countries are governed by communist or dictators. When the bombs go off they don't kill only those who support those goverments they also kill those who are there not neccesarily by choice. Remember a lot of those countries don't have the economy we have for people to just up and leave if they don't like it.

I don't know if I could go killing others whether they are the perpetrators or worse yet innocent bystanders and die myself to do the will of a goverment that does the very things I would be expected to die or kill for. At least not until the goverment stops doing those same things.

Think about it, our own government has been implicated in the assassination of a President. Something that's never been proved or dis-proved without a single bit of doubt.

nascar did it, right? For those that want to bring politics into non partisan topics like the WTC tragedy or to racing boards, I will tell you this. You show me a Democrat that is out of control and I can show you his mirror image except that he is a Republican. Clinton and Monica? Yep, bad deal. How many Republicans did they have to go through to get a speaker of the house that wasn't guilty of adultery? You want to bash politicians? No problem with me. Heck I'll join you or even lead the charge, but if you think all the sleaze is in one party, give it up.

It should be noted that Online Journal is decidedly anti-Republican and anti-Bush. If you don't believe it, just click on their Commentary link and peruse the articles listed on the page that comes up. That is certainly their right, but no one should confuse them with news organizations that are trying to present an objective, unbiased view of world events.

I'm not saying the article is false just because they wrote it, but neither is it true just because they wrote it. If Rush Limbaugh claimed that the events of the past week were all Bill Clinton's fault, would you believe that without confirmation from other sources?

I've been wondering what rush had to say.
he probably said it was done to avenge vince fosters murder.

and lucky , I don't think you and novi disagree.

and novi, I agree with every word you said.

my tag line is taken from a speech given by robert f. kennedy, to a group of blacks on the day MLK was murdered.

He was the one that broke the news to them.
In indianapolis if I remember correctly.

the only city that didn't riot that night.
    It's a brand new day.

Personally I wasn't looking for the "political" angle that's why I never brought it up. Although it's rather obvious who's favored, but if what's printed is the truth(it was reported in the major media) does it matter who did what.

The POINT is, we have done and most likely still do or at least condone terrorist activities when it's to the USA's benefit.

If we are in a war against terrorism does that include our own whether it's called terrorism or some other name?

steve, you are correct. If Rush said that and I would be surprised if he hasn't already done so, I wouldn't believe it. But that kind of makes my point too. It can be made from either side.
nitro, I wasn't disagreeing with him at all. I just got something different from it. From the direction he was going I am in agreement. Something about, "before you worry about the splinter in your advesary's eye, you might better take care of that plank in your" or something like that.

If they are on the other side, they are terrorist. But if they are on your side, they are freedom fighters.

" How many Republicans did they have to go through to get a speaker of the house that wasn't guilty of adultery? "

And not a one of them lied under oath...take a look at New York...

"We have been doing the very things other terrorist do for years, it's just not as obvious as last week. "

When was the last time we blew up a business center, killing thousands of people...

If that has to be explained, I really feel sorry for you...
