I really enjoyed the Pro-Mod exhibition...I understood from a guy behind us who is in the TA Funny Car that the NHRA is thinking about adding it. Beautiful cars...

Funny Car was a great show...many guys over 300mph...TF was a bit off, many guys losing motors.

Perfect weather for a weekend of drag racing. I can't be there because of gimping around after some surgery, but will be watching whenever it's on.

For all who make it, there's no need to wish you a great experience. That's a given.

the pro mods are just an exhibition class and probably will stay that way.

in NHRA anyway. they started in IHRA and they are a big deal there.

I think they're just isn't room for them in NHRA.

the NHRA would never let em push pro-stock off the stage.
    It's a brand new day.

Nitrofan, I was just going to post that
thought myself. How does that car look
in person? It is sweet looking on the
TV. Gotta give it to Big Daddy for
    being inventive.

I saw it at the gators. it's just as impressive in person.

and today, he ran over 300 in it for the first time.

    318!

5 th fastest speed of the event.

too bad they qualify by elapsed time.

he missed by 2 thousandths of a second.

    no provisionals in drag racing.

but he said he' d like to go to texas in october.

    crosss you r fingers.[/LIST]
