    big daddy gets it done!

4.72 at 302. first time ever in the 4's and over 300 AND he's # 15 qualifier for tomorow, got a tough customer in round one, mike dunn in darrell gwynn's car, a 4.5 car . hopefully dunn will smoke the tires as he so often does.

**** those yankeees. if they 're gonna kick redsox butt so much they may as well lose on the track .
    It's a brand new day.

At almost 70 years old, he is still "Big Daddy", and he's still got it.

    How did Cha-Cha do?

Now if we could just get AJ in an Indy Car...

Hey Nitro! Thought I'd check into this board. It's a bit quieter than the Indy Racing board. The coverage and stories from the Nationals have been great! Shirley qualifying 12th and Big Daddy 15th--what more could you ask for?

I mentioned it in a thread awhile ago on the IRNLS board, but I took my wife to the Mile High Nationals for the first time a month ago, and after experiencing the power of the fuelers making a pass, she's hooked! She mentioned that we should take a trip back for the US Nationals sometime.

It's a **** shame what happened to Shirley. Of all the things to go wrong! I wonder if she'll get another crack at The Nationals? She didn't qualify too bad...

I 'm wondering how old shirley's car is. probably a few years I bet.

it's tough when you don't have consistent funding.
