    Bobbleheads / Die Cast

Al Unser, AJ Foyt, Rick Mears - as sold at IMS this year.... sure to be collectible.

I also have a 1/18 Minichamps, die cast model of the inaugural F1 USGP car, "Stars and Stripes". This is a beautiful freaggin' die cast!!!

I should have some pictures of this stuff scanned in a couple of days.

There are 3 inaugural 1/18th USGP promo cars.
1 was available at the track, looks like the U.S. flag.
The 2 other's have the same "scheme", 1 of them is gold. Sharp car also.
The first 1/43rd promo car seems to have the highest value though.
    Just FYI.

Bobbleheads are becoming real collectible for whatever reason. I have seen some 1960's baseball bobbleheads go for more than $300.

Yeah, its my favorite die-cast, haven't seen the gold one though. Where are the other two available?

I don't think the 1/43rd can be worth more it only cost me $10... do you mean "ratio-wise"??

My best advice on the other 2 1/18th USGP promo's, try e-bay, i saw a gold one listed not to long ago for $16.00, with the buy it now option for $32.00, i believe.
The white one is getting harder to find.

As far as the 1/43rd, seeems to me the price for it on e-bay is $50 to $70.
If you got 1 for $10, YOU DID WELL.

The gold one was made for qvc, they tried to sell them for$180.00, and couldn't sell many, they were bought from qvc, and for a while were over $100.00, but not now. Just me, and i am not into the gold plate stuff much, but this car is sharp. The white one is just like the gold one, just white.
The track version ( big white stars), is a great looking car.Hope i answered your question.

The 1/43rd you mean the REEEEEEALLY small one??? That price is amazing... the quality is marginal (if we're talkin' bout the same thing) at best... its too small to have much detail.

Are the white and gold ones by "Minichamps" also?

The 1/43rd, is about 4 inches long, i know which one you are talking about, the scale is 1/64th, hot wheel size, they sold for $10.00. The 1/43rd is hard to find now.
The speedway had the 1/43rd 2001 promo car for $19.00, when i was home for the 500.
I picked one up. The 1/18th was $29.00. if i remember right. All the 1/43rd, and 1/18th are minichamps models. I dont remember if the 1/64 is a minichamps.
