New Tech Director for the IPS Series is.......

Butch Meyer. Butch will add his expertese to making the Pro series motors more reliable plus he will be a no- nonsense "cop" in the tech line.

    Congrats Butch!

And if the "cop" deal doesn't work out, at least he could get the kid to back off on the straights.

How is Butch, or is he related to, Louise Myers IV. He use to run a sprint car at Eldora in the 70’s A dayglow #51. Always had very crisp loud engines. Always was fast, but usually broke or crashed. Can’t say I ever seen him win but always. look very classy.

That's the same guy......and it's Louis not Louise. His grandfather was first 3 time winner of the Indy 500 and started the milk tradition. His father is "Sonny" Meyer legendary engine builder with many Indy wins

Good for Butch. But Indy car racing will suffer without him building engines. The guy could make a 4 banger competitive. Hope he likes his new deal.
