I'll be away from a computer for a week
Will anything new be discussed here? Doesn't anyone here have a life? After Toronto last weekend I have a great feeling CART will be ok. It's gonna be great to come back and read this forum in a week and continue watching people make fools of themselves.

The coolest.
Ok, he's gone. Now let's talk about him!

I admire the enthusiasm of some of the c^rt fans who hang out here, but I was also at that race, and a couple of things stood out. One, c^rt looks really cheesy these days. Two, the way c^rt stands by and lets Molson hijack the word 'Indy' to falsely represent something it's not really annoyed me. It was 'Indy' this and 'Indy' that all week. It's one thing for a foreign sponsor to pay to believe people are dumb enough to fall for such blatantly false advertising, but for c^rt to just allow the free suckling of that ample mother's milk is as disingenuous as it gets.
Typical.
News flash for the wonderful fans in Canada: It AIN'T Indy racing. I wish something could be done to prevent this dishonest behavior from continuing.

Perhaps you could've jumped onto the track with signage proclaiming This is not Indy racing, You are being manipulated into believing this is real Indycar racing. Turn away and go home now! I'd suggest wearing a kilt to get everones attention and wait until the race is about halfway over before jumping onto the track and running into the racing line.

Oh come on Defender. This could have turned into a good natured roast until you came in here and started talking about racing.

Sammich,,,,,,,,,, I think the "fools" found something to talk about....... CART's own admission and release regarding no money for 2004.....
To bad you're not around to tell them why it's a positive thing.
BTW, Sammich, have you noticed that both Jim Wilke's and Forrest Bond's figures from a long long time ago were right on the money????? Those two guys amaze me. Do they also amaze you, Sammich?

It's been over a week. So where is Sammich?

It does blow. It's part of the reason I'm skipping Road America this year. I'm gonna go up tomorrow just to say hi to a few people and watch quals. For the first time ever theres something on a race weekend I'd rather do.
