Dickie Gaines made it two out of the last three wins at Lawrenceburg. It wasn't easy this time as he was passed by Illinois visitor Mike Hess. Things were looking good for Hess until a yellow occured with a handfull of laps remaining. He misjudged a slowing backmarker as the yellow came out and tagged the back end of him damaging his car too badly to continue.
Second went to Kevin Briscoe and thrid to J.D. Turner.
No Fishburger sitings tonight, at least with me.

no grogg sitings, either...itsanonwingthing and yours truly, along with our buddy Tim, braved the dust and were impressed with Mike Hess. I'm told that it was a Dave Freed car and they may run it at Eldora. 36 sprint cars and about 63 modifieds.
