Hey, A Really Active Sponsor
I don't believe I have ever seen a sponsor, use their name on a rear quarter pamel to better advantage then UPS has done with Dale Jarrett.
The tv ads featuring the "Big Brown Truck" and Dale are a tough act to follow.
I would like to see the company go one step futher, fancy a UPS truck and make it look as near as possible to a race car for Dale to make public appearances.
**** if Budwieser can haul a bunch of horses around the country, UPS should be able to transport one delivery truck.
Dick, you haven't seen the "Hot Rod Brown Truck?" Last year, they paid a street rod shop in CA to chop an old UPS truck 6", put a big block Ford in it, lower it on air ride suspension, custom interior, cool wheels, and topped off the UPS Brown paint with a Dean Jeffries flame job.Incidentally, I shipped a package in a UPS Store last night, and they had a full rack of diecasts.

Glad to hear UPS has built a "Hot Rod Brown Truck". It hasn't made it to Tijeras, New Mexico as yet ---- of course, come to think of it, the Budwieser Clydesdales haven't been here yet either.
When U.S, Highway 66 was the only East-West route 66 traffic had to stop at the 4-way stop sign for NM 14 but now but since Tijeras got two stop lights and I40 traffic sails R.O.B. **** progress.
