    Please explain why

A moderator has moved my post about Daytona ratings from the NASCAR forum to the business form...fair enough I guess...but then he posts two items about ticket sales and car counts at Rockingham, both legitimate business topics...they are still on the NASCAR forum...my responses to his post about car counts have been erased...my my...

From what I understand, the forum may be under continuous siege from a handful of disenfranchised, pathetic, childish, hostile, borderline retarded, non-race-fan losers. The very same losers who are responsible for whatever hate lingers by the anti-IRL cultists, most of whom can't or won't understand the first thing about how the sport got to where it is or that there was a history for at least 7 decades prior to their hatching.

So in defense of the folks charged with keeping it real, they have a lot to deal with without shenanigans from us regulars. I myself am making a concerted effort not to make any of the lurking morons turn blue and stomp up and down like the 1 year olds they seem to be here on the otherwise peaceful forum.

It's not just what we say, but how the cultists react in their typically juvenile ways. Sad, but a reality with which we have to deal until they either grow up or spontaneously combust, whichever occurs first.

Under these extreme conditions, I'll continue to give the moderators the benefit of any doubt and try not to make their chosen tasks any more difficult than they already are.

Not an official answer since I'm not the mod of record, but here is my post from your question on the NASCAR board.

Howard, think of it this way. Daytona is over. Rockingham is the upcoming event, thus the current topic of discussion. If the topic is car counts for the season, then it's business. If it's car counts from the last race, then it's business also. If it's this week's topic (and it is), I understand dog's logic completely.

I now find myself banned from the IRL and NASCAR forums because of my aggresive questioning about these threads. I've been told that I've been 'antagonistic'.

I'm a grizzled veteran of banning. Give it a while, then come back refreshed. Sometimes time off does a man good. Besides, it's racing season and spring is just around the corner.

For the record, I enjoy exchanging dialogue with Howard, in person and on the forums. They don't come any better with regard to being a fan.

If I could vote, I'd vote for no banning for Howard. He's part of the fabric of this forum.

Nnnoooooooooooooo! you don't say, I wonder how anyone got that feeling? Sorry Howard, I too felt I was wrongly banished once, it didn't last too long, say your sorry and it will probably go away.

"...say your sorry and it will probably go away."

It's already been suggested that I do so...but, why should I issue an insincere apology...I was aggressive...for that, I learned a lesson...I would be less so in the future...I did nothing to apologize for...

If you purposely caused trouble for a moderator, that's enough. Life's too short, ya know??
