It climbs the hills like a Matchless
Cause my Honda's built really light
When I go into the turns
Lean [Tilt] with me and hang on tight
I better turn on the lights
So we can ride my Honda tonight

First gear (Honda Honda) it's alright (faster faster)
Second gear (little Honda Honda) I lean right (faster faster)
Third gear (Honda Honda) hang on tight (faster faster)
    Faster it's alright

"Put something exciting between your legs" was the advertising slogan in the '70s for Can-Am motorcycles, the dirt bike arm of Bombardier/Ski-Doo.

I'm serious about Honda, if they continue to support this series the way they do, I'm buying something. I don't like front-wheel drive, so I don't think they have a car for me. I am a one-man family, so I don't need the size of a SUV no matter how small. I have had Honda "bikes," so that is an option, but even if it is just a lawnmower, I'll buy something.

S2000, ... REALLY great car. Just enough room for 2. Get the '04 model if you can afford one. Lot's o'improvements.

    Mackie,

The S2000 is a fine sports car, the early models required you to rev the heck out of the motor to go fast, but that is a sports car character. Did a 6 hour drive in one once, I was pretty beat up at the end...and the car is not particularly fond of moping about in big city rush hour traffic. BUT, give it some open road and light traffic and it'll make you smile big time.

Even if you're not a front wheel drive (wrong wheel drive?) fan, go drive an Acura RSX Type S.....it is a blast!!!!!! You'll never really notice that the wrong wheels drive the car (except for the tiniest bit of torque steer). And it's got a roof and is a much better all around ride.

The 04 S2000 has a very different engine characteristic than prior models. The new engine has a 1000 rpm lower rev limit, and .2 more liters, as well as significant torque gain in the lower RPM range. plus some suspension refinements.

it basically looks the same, but drives quite different.

I sold my Ford Ranger to get the Chevy S-10.

And that was before they were putting their name on the Indy engines.

    We also have an Oldsmobile.

    But I don't know why..........it's my wife's car.

Is that the $50K sports car, I'm comfortable, but not that comfortable. I balked at a G35 coupe because they wouldn't deal.

You will be able to buy it in hardtop configuration relatively soon.

    http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/news/s2000/hardtop.html

As well, the also have a removable hardtop for it already.
