Coke plant and its neighbors in dispute?
http://www.indystar.com/articles/3/130930-5943-009.html
According to this report, Coke wants to re-locate their main entrance from Georgetown Road to 25th Street, which is situated outside turn 4 of IMS. But the neighbors on 25th Street "fear" that the heavy Coke truck traffic would disrupt their lives . . . . . . .
Huh?
There are no comments from these people regarding the traffic that accompanies the month of May, the Formula One race weekend, or the NASCAR weekend. No comments regarding the mass of humanity, the all night partying, the litter, the noise, or the parking of cars on their lawns several times a year. No comments regarding the noise from all the testing at the speedway or even the noise by being on the final approach to Indianapolis International Airport!

I'm not one of the protestors, but my landlord is!

At least they are allowed to have vinyl or aluminum siding.

No, brick!

They don't have a problem charging $10-$20 bucks per car to park, do they?

Too funny! Wonder what Ed Carpenter has to say since he lives in that area if I remember right.

There already is an entrance off of 25th street into the Coca-Cola complex. What are they squawking about?

Just to clarify, the entrance onto 25th Street from the Coke plant is for employees and visitors (i.e. auto traffic). The proposed entrance on 25th Street would come out across from McCray Street and be for the delivery trucks.
Again, I am not one of the protestors. And I don't park cars in my yard during the races either (landlord's rules, not mine!) .

The feeling is mutual PHJ! Now if I see you at El Rodeo, I'll recognize you.
