Wanna know what's wrong with NASCAR? They've gone from Junior Johnson to Jimmie Johnson.

Wanna know what's wrong with IndyCar? It's gone from dirt ovals to street races.

What wasn't on the results was the wind and the dust that covered the great racing. The two Shane's Cottle and Hollingsworth raced up to 2nd & 3rd and pulled away from 4th place chasing Hines. Very good job by both and names you will see in the win postion. Back in the pack a group of 6 to 8 cars battled the whole race for 4th on back. Jon Stanbrough had to race all night with a car tight and trying to tip over. Chris Deckard was fun to watch as he has no fear of running hard and wheel to wheel with anybody! USAC monitered the weather channel and Jiggs and the track busted ass to get as much in as the did. For some reson the track was very dusty with the sprint cars but it's still racin'.

I'll add that is was a good thing that the wind was coming out of the south. Otherwise we'd have eaten a lot more dust than we did.

The Deckard kid also came from last in the B Main to easily transfer into the feature.
