IMO NBC/TNT spends too much time doing the "through the field". I'd rather just see the race. I would assume that the sponsors like it though.

I think they do it too much but at least they have an announcer make a proper report on each team. If your favorite driver is mired in 27th place it may be the only time you get any news on them.

My first Indy 500 was 1973, haven't missed one since 1981. To date I have attended 35 Indy 500's, and probably 100 or so other IndyCar races (CART & IRL).
I wish they would do it on IRL broadcasts.
Preferrably with a little team/driver news.
Can't stop through the field now, it would hurt the Chase. The teams outside the top 10 would get no coverage.
