    Terry Knight Murdered

Can't find a link yet, heard about it this morning.

Terry Knight, manager for Grand Funk Railroad was murdered by his daughter's 28 year old boyfriend yesterday. He was 61.

I was going to college in Mich in the 60s.
He started out as a dj on am radio and was a big celeb up there.
Started singing as Terry Knight and the Pack IIRC....then went on to producing records and managing GFR.

"Grand Funk Railroad" was a takeoff on the Grand Trunk railroad line that ran thru Mich

    RIP TK

I still have a single of his cover of Ben E. King's I (who have nothing). Terry Knight and the Pack made several appearances on the Upbeat TV show based in Cleveland I think.

    RIP

OK, I'll start. Grand Funk without Mark Farner ain't Grand Funk...
