Name your five favorite movie comedians...

    Once again, I'll start first:

    1. Richard Pryor
    2. Martin Lawrence
    3. Michael Keaton(before he became a drama actor)
    4. Eddie Murphy
    5. Ben Stiller

A special accolade for the late Rodney Dangerfield.

Nobody is as funny as Sam Kinison, but James Belushi is pretty good. Eddie Murphy kills me. I don't know if you consider them comedians, but Trey Parker and Matt stone are savagley funny,
"Is that my *** that I smell burning?" ... Helmet Stogie from "Death spasms of the Mabuchi"

    Top five in order:

    Buster Keaton
    Stan Laurel
    Groucho Marx
    W.C. Fields
    Harry Langdon

P.S. There hasn't been a decent movie comedian since Peter Sellers died. The best movie comedians these days are in the Jack Lemmon mold, i.e. actors who are exceptional in comedy roles: Kevin Kline, Jeff Bridges, etc.
