If you're in Indy tune in Fox Sports and check the unusual sight of an NBA game between the Pacers and Pistons being delayed by some kind of threat. It's been an hour and the teams haven't warmed up year. Strange city that Detroit, imo.

Have a very blessed day!
...FOX Sports Midwest claimed it was a threat against the Pacers, the radio broadcast with Mark Boyle claimed a bomb threat. None of the accusations confirmed but a news conference was to be held?!
Game finally underway Indian up 8-6.
My first Indy 500 was 1973, haven't missed one since 1981. To date I have attended 35 Indy 500's, and probably 100 or so other IndyCar races (CART & IRL).
Bomb threat phoned in > Pacers locker room.
What a classy bunch of fans.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The bomb threat that delayed the matchup between the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers for 1 hour, 25 minutes Friday was one of four received that night regarding the game, police said.
The game was delayed after a caller told officials at The Palace there was a bomb in the Pacers' locker room. It was Indiana's first trip back to Detroit since a brawl on Nov. 19 between the teams that spilled into the stands, and back onto the court.
Auburn Hills detectives were still investigating the threats on Saturday evening.
"Detectives are working with Palace personnel and their phone provider in an attempt to identify the person who called in the threat," police Lt. James Manning said in a statement Saturday.
If identified, the caller could be charged with making a false bomb threat, a felony for which the person could be sentenced up to four years in prison.
After the news of the first threat became public, Manning said, a second threat was called in to the Auburn Hills Police communications center. The Palace switchboard also received two more bomb threats at the end of the game, police said.
It does not appear the calls were made by the same person, police said, and all the calls were being investigated.
There were no arrests made during the game.
Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
BTW, the Pacers pounded the Pistons 94-81.![]()
