Okay Challenger fans. What was the classic movie that made the Challenger a house-hold term?
Think 'bulldozer scene'.

Finally someone gets it.
I bleed little bowties, but Dodge has certainly turned my head the past couple of years!
Vanishing Point. There are two versions. The re-make was on last night. Viggo Mortensen is the driver.Originally Posted by Cant_hit_apex

Next up, the new retro Camero from Chevy.

Movie Fact:
It is NOT a Dodge Challenger that gets destroyed at the end of Vanishing Point.
Anyone know what car was used as the 'stunt double'?
To a New Yorker like yourself, a hero is some type of weird sandwich. Not some nut who takes on three Tigers!
Evidently a '67 Camaro. The pyrotechnics can be seen in the first photo.Originally Posted by MD-IRLFAN

I remember seeing this show in a theatre on Coal Ave. in Gallup, NM when it came out. I remember thinking where in the heck did that Challenger get the chrome rims for closing scene.
I'll take one of each please.
But since Chevy bailed on the IRL, I'm thinking I need a new Honda.
WOW! Killer screen captures Taxpayer. The give away that's easily seen in the movie is a shot of the rear similiar to the third shot you posted. The rear bumper is an easy spot. Hadn't heard about it being without a drivetrain and pulled into the dozers. Not that I thought someone was actually driving it!
Love to have that Police Package Polara.
