    Nascar Simracing Setups

    I just like to race vs. the computer but am not great at car setups, does anyone play this game that could pass along setups? I know online racing is big and I'm not sure if you go into races with your own setup or if everyone uses the same but I'm not out to "steal" setups, I honestly race vs. the computer only.

    Lots of sites have setups you can download. Go to www.blackholemotorsports.com or www.simracingcentral for some. Otherwise do a google search for nr2k3 setups and you'll find more than you can shake a stick at.

    I'd offer some of mine but I lost all I had.

    League racing online has just about anything you'd like for Nascar as far as difficulty. I raced in a league with "fixed setups" for over a year and it was great. When you get into "open setups" leagues it is daunting but there are lots of folks to help you out.

    Remember that a fast setup for one driver may feel uncontrollable to another driver. Different setups require different techniques often.

    I got the setups off of Blackhole, I use that site often for Mod's , etc... I also did a google but didn't find too much...

    I have the EA Sports game as the Papy game is too much for me... EA came out with a setup guide, I've used it but I still struggle, they gave you the Atlanta setup in the tutuorial, it's really really good.

    I tried the Papyrus game too but my car just pulls right and i cant even steer it.
    My controller works fine in Madden 08, WoW and other games I have including Sim Racing.
    One great thing about NASCAR Sim Racing is you can test forever.
    as a Car Idiot, I really need advice about the DIFF RATIO.
    Does every track use the same Gear ? As there are no default setups I am stumbling around in the dark.
    Any Info would be appreciated. I been using the Papyrus game to get info from but im still confused about the Gear Ratio.
