    Long Beach T-shirt

Picked this up at a Denver flea market last weekend. At four bucks, how could I pass on something this ridiculous?

I must not be as old as you guys make me feel... I noticed that before I noticed the Ferrari and NASCAR signage.

I think its supposed to be the side mounted air intakes used on FFords/F2k/Atlantic through the years... I think.

Okay then what the heck is that tiny yellow thing buzzing above the driver's right shoulder... that appears suspended in time and space??

To me it looks more orange than yellow...and at that, it rather resembles Vitor's newly-redone Arrows...errr, Panther Dallara.

How about that aero setup--A huge road course rear wing paired with a skimpy front wing assembly that Tom Sneva would be impressed with. Looks like they got that rear wing laid back to negative downforce to get the balance right....

I dunno, didn't Penske's old sponsor Computervision kind of have a "swoosh" thing on the rear wing? Maybe the "artist" actually did a little homework afterall, even if it was glancing at a early 80's Indycar picture he found in SI....

Probably, Except there's already an airbox... and there's no way for the air to get to from that thing to the engine.

Also, the raised nose seems to have the world's thinnest superspeedway wings, but there's a road course wing on the back.

$4 eh? Any chance of going back for a refund? LOL

I dont think thats an air box by the LR, looks to me like a stack of 12" vinyl record albums lying on their side. Doesnt go with the car but neither does anything else in the pic.

And who the He77 is this Calif Ornia guy? never heard of him.
