They are awfully happy about winning a game that they were suppose to win - of course a lot of us were not sure they were going to do it.

The fact still remains that the team has the height of an average Indiana high school 4A team - 6-8 "center", 6-6 power forwards (Mike White and Xavier Keeling).

But when Wilmont, Ratliff, Bassett are hitting from the outside it does open up the inside and allow this team to compete with just about anyone (imagine what would happen if Stemler also suddenly started to hit from the outside like he did as a JC all american).

But it is just a matter of time until the outside shots don't fall and they need offensive and defensive rebounding to win and they will not be dancing again. Who knows, nobody thought the Colts defense could carry them to the Super Bowl either.

The positive is Sampson has an intensity back, and they are back playing defense, and next year's recruiting class will bring inside help and a great outside player.

Is Wilmont the best pure shooter we've had since Guyton?

When Ratliff's wrist get's healthy again the training staff needs to re-snap it like they did in that soccer movie "Victory". He's better with the broken wrist than he was without it.

Stop the stupid TO's Earl, we need ya.

Isn't having a bunch of dorky looking white kids on the end of the bench that over-cheer at any instance what makes college basketball so special?

Actually no it's not, I'm pretty sure it would be clear if we had a video of Eric.

No one cheers at the end of the bench like Erik Ahlfeld.

He should be a 1st team All-American in that category.

They should keep him around for the next 10 years just to do that.

Why is Suhr down with those guys anyway? Yes, he was a walk-on too, but he has moved up to the big-boy table now. No need to keep hangin' with the dorks of the team. (its just a joke, I am sure those guys would be stud players at DePauw or Rose Hulman.......well Ben Allen wouldn't. ).

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

The Sklars are the funniest hosts I've ever heard. I sort of like listening to Rome, but I'd much rather listen to those guys. Cheap Seats is a great show.

As for Lampley, don't look for him to guest host the show again anytime soon.

Cheap Seats is a hilarious show no doubt. Rethinking it I would put them above Eisen as guest hosts. I have a bias towards literary type hosts. I did see Lamps doing HBO's boxing broadcasts a few weeks ago, has there been any further developments in that case? The Sklars are great just for their support of The Cult of Gary Gaetti.

I wonder how old I was when I realized that wasn't the actual line of the song. It's sad, but true.

(WARNING: potentially offensive line below, but most people thought this was an actual line to a song)
