I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. The ACS has a good support network look into it as it might help.
If you've not been to a Relay for Life event check one out it will move you beyond words!

Prayers for your mother. American Cancer Society is a great support for many things, especially information. Another great resource is www.livestrong.org. It seems nearly everyday I learn of someone else affected by cancer--it is so very prevalent. I'll be participating in a Relay for Life here in Speedway in August--I'm really looking forward to it.My mother. Diagnosis confirmed yesterday afternoon.

TTE, cancer is not nearly the death sentence that it used to be. My mom has been battling it for over 10 years. No cure, but it's treatable. She has lived to see 2 grandkids grow up and a great-grandson, now age 4. I'm not about to bet against her.
I've another dear friend at TF here who is a cancer survivor. A tough lady whom I admire very much. Bet you guys know her too.

We contributed to our cancer center, inre: "Relay For Life".
(they held a charity dance 2 weeks ago...we couldn't make it, but.....)
