I guarantee you that there will be more passing on the first lap than there has been in the entire last five years of the USGP .

I live in Germany and every MotoGP weekend every second of every practice, qualifying and the 3 races is on TV live. It is like 5 hours of live TV for every race. And it is always the most exciting racing of any kind week in and week out. I went to friday practice at Assen last year. Incredible the way these guys slide these things around. They are louder than the F1 cars though. So remember ear protection when you guys see them at Indy.

Hopefully someday Carl Edwards will get a win. Sorry to say it but Hayden is overrated. Stoner is the next champion. Vermulen is there. Capirossi is good. Hopkins is improving. In the wet, anything can happen.

    Enjoy MotoGP as I do.

    You got that right...

I wonder what they will do about the final turn leading on to the front straight...I could see some kind of chicane being added just prior to that...

Thanks for the advice. I'm really looking forward to MotoGP at Indy.

I'd be amazed if Carl Edwards could race a single lap at speed. But Colin Edwards is pretty good.

Course will be run counter-clockwise. I hear a new section is to be built prior to Indy Turn one that will connect to present day infield course. (picture Daytona).

Is there a new map anywhere of what the new course will look like?

None that I'm aware of at this stage. My guess would be if this is true, look for it to be unveiled at the formal announcement on the 16th.

I heard IMS is gonna rip out the inside bleachers between oval turns one and two and put in a chicane or a dog leg or a bus stop or something...

    Maybe.

so changes would be made at the SW part of the facility to slow them down as they exit the front stretch...what would be done at the north end of the front stretch to lessen the chance of impact with the wall, or will the current design be ok?
