I'm going for sure this year. Isn't the property for sale? I wanted to see it while I still can.

That sounds like something I would enjoy immensely. Would love to see what remains of that old historic track.

I went last year and had a good time. True to form, I have not yet posted the photos on my web site (I don't know where the times goes, but it goes somewhere...). I'm going to see if I can post them before this year's event rolls around.

I feel very lucky to have enjoyed a track tour narrated by Joie Ray, who passed away this past April.

I would love to make it. Long drive from Wis/Ill state line though. I checked out the old site a few years ago. Are the wooden stands still there? If anyone has more details on what's happening with this I would love to hear it.

I was there today while canoeing. Drove all around it, and parked in the infield. Pretty cool, still has all the banking and the banking for the smaller track on the inside. There is a small wooden stands, probably no longer than 60', still standing, with a roof over it.

I didn't see anything about it being for sale, the canoe livery (Turkey Run Canoe Trips) seems to do pretty well. The guy there told me the last race was in 1963?

I remember hearing the name on here and in the NSSN, didn't realize it was such a big track, I bet it was fast!
