Normally crs....I'd have voted with you. However, my wife LOVES her Colts! If I even ATTEMPT to switch channels, she'd cut my hand off with the remote still in it!
    But that's just my opinion!

Maybe I did not clarify my platform well enough...

The channel will only changed during commercials and halftime!!

I'll tape the race and excercise my time management skills later.

I'm going to watch the Seahawks-Browns while checking on the Pats-Colts. I'll record the race and watch bits of it later.

Wow, I am surprised! And I thought I would get FLAMED with this poll in a racing forum.

What is this saying about Nascar? Maybe needs another poll, eh? I will fill out the commercials with Nascar updates, and watch the last 10 laps or so after the Boston Patriots lose. I don't want the Colts to win. I want Boston to lose.

My vote went to watching the race for several reasons.

    1. I would rather watch a race than stick and ball any day, with the exception multi-class sports car races and the CCWS. I'm not taking a cheap shot at the CCWS either, I just have to have an interest in more than half the drivers in the field, and secondly, I'm also afraid I would have to watch Paul Stupid win the race.

    2. I have to have some racing to watch until the NHRA finals comes on.

    3. If I don't watch the NASCAR race (?), I won't have anything to b***h and argue with Racewriter about all next week.
It's always been about the Indy 500!
I realize I have the right to remain silent, but don't have the ability or enough common sense to do so.

    Pats-Colts

However with some serendipidous remote button pushing I caught 2:21 sec. of NASCAR action side by side with Kenseth and Jimmy "Ya doesn't have to call me" Johnson. Don't know what happened with the rest of it.

Well, since the Colts-Pats wasn't shown by Time Warner here in The People's Republic of Northeast Ohio I was forced to watch the Browns-SeaHawks game (pretty good game BTW) with frequent usage of the remote to keep track of the race. I was also further multi-tasking by text messaging back and forth with a buddy in the stands in Indy. In addition, I had the smartphone browser open to a frequently updated ESPN stat feed of the Colts-Pats game and used the Refresh function on the browser to follow the play by play. As such, I didn't vote!

    Question: What will be sweeter:

    1. Be the Pats, go 16-0, get to the AFC Championship Game at home against Indy and lose.

    or

    2. Be the Colts, go 15-1, maybe 14-2, beat the Pats in Foxboro in the AFC Championship Game, and win a second straight Super Bowl?

    GO COLTS!

I've totally lost interest in this year's Chase. Even though I didn't care for the outcome of the football game, it never even crossed my mind to flip over and check on the Cup deal.

I was at the Browns-Seahawks game. Caught the race this morning on ESPN Classic. As far as Super Bowl 41.5, it wasn't on here in Cleveland, and even if it was, I'm currently living in a hotel room with no means of recording TV shows. Didn't bother me too much, though. I tend to save my excitement for Super Bowls numbered with integers.
Some fans claim one series or another runs "real race cars." What's everybody else running, fake race cars?

Watched the race live at TMS. Caught the end of Pomona in the motel room. Read about the football game in Monday's paper after getting back to Houston that evening. Different strokes.
