I'm back after some sheet time!

I just want to say hello and I've been away undergoing some cancer surgery. I had 5' of my colon removed 11-3 and I'm still in the recovery process.
I have a wound that's slow to heal, so I'll still be recuperating for a few more weeks now.
I've had some complications that landed me back in the hospital last week, but they have been resolved and I'm still in for a slow recovery. But I don't want it to be SLOW!
    Have a very blessed day!

...best of luck to you and a speedy recovery.
My first Indy 500 was 1973, haven't missed one since 1981. To date I have attended 35 Indy 500's, and probably 100 or so other IndyCar races (CART & IRL).

Man, I'm thinking of you, dude.....I had a close family member go through colon cancer this past year. But, I'm happy to say that chemo's over and everything's been looking good.
Hang in there and don't give up the fight.
(and also make sure your family has a support system, too, because it's also hard for the care givers )

    Paul,

I missed you and was wondering what was going on in your life. This is not good for your BPT pursuits. Here is wishing you a full and successful recovery.

I'm not sure I'll be able to be at the Dome, but it's a goal.
BTW, as of now I am cancer free. I just have this big hole left in my stomach.

I'm sorry to hear about the cancer, Paul. Glad the doctors found it and that you are now cancer free. Please keep us updated with your progress. It goes without saying you are in all of our prayers. Looking forward to seeing in Gasoline Alley on opening day!

I had a colon removed the other day. It was a typo in a letter.

    sorry

Get well soon. You timed it well, between IRL seasons.

Glad you caught it when you did, my Uncle wasn't nearly as lucky - he was diagnosed on July 5th & died two weeks later.

    God bless!

    Good Luck with your rehab.

did you hire anybody to contribute an "h" or two while you were away?
